Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry you were unhappy with the fuel charge. We understand your frustration, especially since you stated that you purchased additional fuel during your rental. We did review the rental documentation, and we also have a photo showing the fuel level was below 1/4 tank when the vehicle was returned. The fuel charge was based on the fuel level at the time of return in accordance with U-Haul’s rental policy. We understand that you may disagree with the charge, but we want to be clear that there was no intention to mislead or take advantage of you. We are happy to review the rental records with you if you have questions about how the charge was calculated. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify the situation.
